I have in the past spent lots of time out in the boonies. Upper Maine has lots of territories without names, more like designated with grid #'s
Such as T6/R4. When up in those areas you really do need to watch for bear, moose, and sometimes lynx. Bears are the biggies, specially if the get wiff of your food. Nothing like sleeping in a tent and hearing the bears try to get your food
after you tie it up in a tree. They get ugly!

I know bears can be a real problem.My brother has cottage up North and he has had trouble with them from time to time. He always tells everyone not to leave any food or beer or pop cans around.
