I would love to find a few gal friends that are close.
I was a Navy wife for many years and my friends are scattered all over the US. None close anymore. I'd love to have a girls' night once or twice a month, or weekly. We could get together and have a card game... or a manicure, pedicure night, whatever. Just an evening away from the demands of "home" and "spouse" or "kids". My sisters and I like to get together a few times a year and have an old fashioned "pj party". Just gettin together and tying one on, sleepover without the significant others (guys - if we have them)... we do facials, manicures, etc. We reminisce and have a blast. It is hard to plan it cuz the guys are so childish about it. Not to mention, we never know what they are up to when we're doing our sleepover. But we have a blast!! |
