Absolutely, I believe friendship is based on these three things Honesty Respect Trust If I can't give that back I wouldn't be the friend they are to me. I always start the talk with I am not sure if you are going to like it but here is what I think...

Yes I would. But all my friends know that I would and seem to come to me to ask about there lives. Because they know I will tell them the truth

If a friend asked you for advice,& your advice would hurt their feelings, would you still give them that advice? yeah... my friends know that i'm very straight forward... so they shouldn't come to me on something that would upset them... because i'll tell them EXACTLY what i think... i've gotten in lots of fights with my friends because of it...

Yes I would.. My friends know that I am brutally honest... Many of them preface their questions with "well I know you'll tell me the truth..." I, myself, prefer the same brutal honesty from others... and well if it hurts their feelings, that'll teach them not to bother me with their issues since I'm not charging them for my advice anyways.. lol

I make it a point to let them know that I see them as being grown and therefor able to do what they want. Then I tell them what I would do if I were in the situation they asked for advice about.
