I met someone from here last year, have been living with them for a little over 3 months now, and we couldn't be happier. We get along great, have the same likes, dislikes, wants, humour, etc. A lot of it is contributed to the fact that we both had complete honesty from the start, and were just ourselves at all times.flowerforyou

That's wonderful! Really nice to hear of any success stories :)

Not always but I think the people who do hook up tend to fade out in their on line Mingle time. You see nice people and eventually they dissappear which I tend to think is they have met someone. If I am getting interested in someone I am going to talk more to them in emails or on the phone or personal IM's. I like to send the girly girly stuff in e-cards or personal stationary. I can't speak for anyone else.

3 word. Not enough foreplay online.

When I meet the right person, my time on Mingle will be done. Love you guys and all, but staying on here after hooking up just doesn't seem like a good idea.

you might have to lower your standards then...

and not to be snarky or anything, but saying "every woman needs a man" in your profile might be a turn off to some women who might want a man but don't consider themselves empty or bereft of anything because they're single. jmo

I was emphasising the need of individuals to belong to family.

Well said, I agree. It seems to be once you find someone you would care less about interacting electronically.

Yes, of course. You will no longer have any need for friends.

I know I wouldn't feel comfortable posting on a singles site if I had a significant other. Just a matter of priorities I guess.

Has anyone really met someone and had some face time through this site? Or is this all just a virtual foreplay, but nothing more?
