Interests Music, cars, history, writing, astro-theology, archaeology, prophecy, sacred geometry, geology, hyper-dimensional physics, current events. A little about me is in order I guess. I have no family except my daughter. I have coached football, wrestling, track baseball and basketball at the secondary school level as well as teaching math. I am looking to get back into education someday. I hold a current Oklahoma teaching certificate. I have roughnecked and roustabouted in the oil fields, played music professionally, ranched, roped, owned and operated an electronic shop, sold mobile homes, cars, property & casualty and life insurance(you know it's going to be a bad week when you see your company on 60 Minutes Sunday night...LOL), rode a Harley Davidson for over 20 years and built as many. As of late, I have been employed as a auto body tech/painter, doing a little writing, recording, and a lot of the "daddy" thing. What am I looking for? I was told that a Native American Elder, who was inviting another to stand with him, together in life, wrote this. I think he said it better than I ever could. It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive. It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals, or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. It doesn't interest me if the story you're telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore be trustworthy. I want to know if you can see beauty, even when it is not pretty every day, and if you can source your life, from God's presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours or mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, "Yes"! It doesn't interest me where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children, for another. It doesn't interest me who you are, how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments. (Oriah Mountain Dreamer, 1994) The reality we perceive is mostly illusion, time and distance are only our tools to measure this beautiful creation. Something to occupy my daughter so we could visit, like meet at a food court where they have a playground, have coffee, visit, qualify each other, determine our mutual compatibility and go from there. Or if we agree on something more private, I would enjoy a bottle of nice wine over a campfire, a long visit, topped of with a romantic guitar serenade.
