I dunno..things do come up. I guess I would inquire as to what exactly came up (so you can see what he deems important) and maybe try again if he's sincere. Some people just don't take stock in the theory that someones time is valuable. They seem to just shrug it off that you sat and waited. If that's the case he'd be history in my book.

OR, you can just tell him you met a gorgeous man while waiting and decided to spend the weekend with him. Just saying.

I have had many friends here who have been stood up on a meet.
Some because shilt happens,,,and SOME, because their other was only playing and not real about meeting them in the first place?
As for me, I have never been stood up for a planned meeting.
BUT, I also have never tried to meet anyone unless we both have talked by cell,and we both have each others numbers.

No one's perfect and shilt does happen sometimes to us all.
But if after not showing up,,THEY, are missing in action for an
all day wait to let you know,,then THEIR someone I wouldn't attempt to WANT TO meet again,wink.

personaly.. i think that people spend to much time seperating everything they do online from what they do offline! honestly.. were you in this situation with a guy who sliped youhis ## in a bar.. or a date that a friend set you up on.. what would you do???!!!?!?

i say.. treat real life and online the same.. be real here... and be real there.. ( you decide which is here and which is there) and if you would give a guy a second chance.. then do.. if you wouldnt then dont!

but to say that you wouldnt ever concider online dating aging because of this instance.. its like saying that you wouldnt ever date a guy in real life again (that you meet in a more "conventional" maner) because some jerk broke your heart!!

the medium of meeting him was not the issue in this case.. the person was the issue. dont punish the medium because of the actions of the person!
