I don't order lobster until I know him for a while or he insists, how's that?!

Ive seen it so many times. Thrown so many guys out for fighting over a gilr they barely know. LOL i love my local dives. they supply cheap drinks monday nights are 50 cent pbr nights and free entertainment. ;p and the bands are good too. lol

I always try to stay within the same price as whoever is paying for the meal just common courtesy I think that's pretty common for most women. Well, those who aren't completely selfish. But I personally hate it when I go out and order a nice big steak and all my date gets is a little ass salad. Makes me feel awkward eating a big meal while they're eating next to nothing. well if there like me they may not can get a lot..I can't..and also try to be thoughtful and not order anythin more then I can eat..mostly..

I have always let the man take the lead and then learned about who and what he was by that first date - how he treated me, talked to me, how generous or selfish he was, kind, etc. ....What I did with the information is another matter.

No, I'm not a cheap date - in that if I'm paying: let's face it, even in hard times, or maybe even especially, evidence of importance is necessary and what shows that better than sacrifice? If my date wants to pay. 99 cent meal is okay.
