Yes. You can actually opress someone with enough affection. It turns into smothering.

Think about this for a moment Mirror. How many life long couples have you known who when one passes away,,,the other is right behind them,wink. THATS LOVE MAN,,and THATS,,,loving another more than YOU love life yourself...

Its like logs on a fire. Too close, and it can't get oxygen and burn. Too far apart and there isn't enough heat. A relationship has to be the right distance apart, and that distances changes with time. Its a like a dance, coming closer then backing away.

You can NEVER love a child too much but that's another topic all together. Still, love can be expressed in many ways.
