I like and believe this one.I love buying books for my kids. There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all.

I can agree with that, Angel. Sounds better than when my shrink told me I had an immature desire to be happy. A job well done can bring happiness.

Good morning Angel'
A great qoute to start off the new year! Yes, I believe that happiness is a result of want we do for others, it has a special way of reflecting back on those who give with their hearts. Thanks for sharing. |

If I start doing the things I used to love to do, spending time with friends I used to enjoy, setting appropriate limits and boundaries, forgiving, liking and loving myself, loving and nurturing my child, choose a job that provides a good income and helps me feel competent, get back to practicing my spirituality, and start doing for myself, for a change....joy will naturally manifest.
Good morning to you all. |

that "Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product." (Eleanor Roosevelt) How did you come to believe or understand this? I can only speak for myself, but I had to find what happiness meant to ME, not what other's felt SHOULD make me happy! It seems I lived most of MY life by OTHER'S ideas. Peeling away layers and layers of what I had been TAUGHT to believe, not what I truly believed. The process of learning what I believe and finding out who I AM has been where my happiness started. When I was "chasing" something, I was never living in the moment nor experiencing what was already there! For your own journey!! |
