Even if he did it likely will not happen for awhile. From what I have heard, then only thing that is holding up the completion of the sale if the Dolphins playoff run. |

Denver had no defense or running game.no running game because 6 of them were on IR.i thought the owner and mike had a buddy buddy relationship.oh well,goes to show what have you done for me lately rules over two super bowl rings.

It's been a long time since Denver has had a good defense. Shanahan is the best play caller in the NFL, but defense is not his thing. He was the longest tenured coach in the league. I guess sometimes you need a fresh voice... I'm thinking Shanahan is going to wind up in Dallas. If there was ever a perfect setup for him it is that team. They have great offensive personnel and if anyone knows how to get the most out of their QB it is Shanahan. Great fit... |

His daughters go to school and work in the NY/NJ area. He will not go west. He is going to be talking to the Jets soon, although it is also rumored he is going to have something to say during the pregame on Saturday |

The issue isn't Mike as a coach - it's Mike as a G.M. The owner wanted to shake up the coaching staff - and the only way to do that is to bring in a new G.M. |
