Put up with it from a few different women.
Since it was illegal to slit their throats, I just left. |

Could you forgive someone who was verbally abusive to you? Have you ever? I've forgiven, but I have no respect for anyone who abuses another in any way and when I allowed it to be done to me, I lost respect for myself also...so forgive, yes, allow it again, NO! |

Could you forgive someone who was verbally abusive to you? Have you ever? In my professional life this is common and I don't take it personally. In my private life I have been verbally as well as physically abused. I believe the verbal took a lot longer to heal from than the broken bones. I also have forgiven them sure since I refuse to let something like that fester in me and gain any control of my life. Now I will not tolerate it period if and when the boundaries are crossed they get only one warning then I remove myself from the situation and I don't go back. |

Could you forgive someone who was verbally abusive to you? Have you ever? I have. There's a fine line between verbal and psychological/emotional abuse. I'm not sure I should have forgiven; and, certainly NOT forgotten. |

Could you forgive someone who was verbally abusive to you? Have you ever? Not really as that's typically an indication of something more serious, including domestic violence and other forms of physical violence. And no- I haven't forgiven anybody for partaking in such shenanigans. |

I put up with verbal abuse for 10 yrs by my exhusband. I finally got a divorce. I will no longer tolerate that kind of behavior from any man. Either fight fair or I walk. And yes, there is a way to fight and do it fairly. Have I forgiven? I've forgiven and moved on.
