Has anyone really liked you, but they weren't your type? What did you do? A few..I gave them the old standby line of I am talking to someone right now and I can offer friendship. Just because they aren't my so called type doesn't mean they won't be someone else's treasure. |

I am trying to ignore them....But it's working!!

You could try the friend route? The heart can be delicate. Whatever the decision, it has to handled carefully.

Well I aint lowering my expectations or standards... so I had to politely say thanks but no thanks and told them why... I always tell them why... Someone not being your type doesn't mean they're less than you. You may not be compatible, but it really shouldn't be considered "lowering your standards" by giving a human being who likes you a chance, even if its just one date to be sure you're making the right choice. |

i actually got a few stalkers,

It really depends on why they aren't my type.
|
|
|
|
yes plenty....
I simply explain the notion that everyone [themselves included] has traits (physical or persoanlity-wise) that attracts them to people...and it's usually better when BOTH people are fulfilled with the type of person they are attracted to... then I tell them what my type is. Usually the interested person is so far from my type that they can't possibly rebut. |

Seriously, sometimes someone who isn't seemingly your type can become a source of fascination for you. I like people who are completely different from me because thats who we learn the most from. |

Has anyone really liked you, but they weren't your type? What did you do? Many! Went out on a platonic date; never agreed to a second. Had a one night stand; broke their heart. Didn't agree to get to know them; didn't give them a chance. Working on change today.... |
