I don't understand what makes a person want to just go berserk on
innocent people just because things don't go his way:( Can anyone help
me understand but then he takes his own life. I would like to here your
responds to this:(

I also don't understand I mean if he was a student I can see from his
point of view you know cuz things can get pretty stressful when finals
are comen up but still I mean there is no need to take it out on
innocent people like that so I think he had issues like mentally
to do that cuz life is not that bad to go and kill other innocent people
you know?

You can not expect to rationally think of a reason for things that are
so irrational. You can't begin to imagine what that disturbed soul was
thinking. Anyone who claims to understand is either bluffing or they
should be watched themselves.

I think the people that do that, have problems themselves, and need to
get help. i am sorry for the one's that have died. and i pray for the
one's that survied, and to the parents ofthe one that have died. i am
soooo... sorry.

it is really not that hard to figure out

they live a life that may or may not have been fullfilling at one time
or another

watch the news and hear about news story a. about a serial killer

a time later they hear story b. about a worker showing up at work
and killing several coworkers (the serail killer is mentioned again as
comparison of personality)

then story c. the bank robbers that have a city block locked down with
assault rifles shootting up everything (agian another comparison)

story d. guy blows up a federal office building killing 100s (more
comparisons made)

story e, kids shoot up a school (again more comparisions made)

so on and on and on it goes

in do this autrasity they will never die who knows in 5 years some on e
will probaply make a movie out of what they have done

THEY DO IT CAUSE WE WILL NOT LET THEM BE FORGOTTEN

I don't understand the reasoning behind taking other people's lives
because the world is not going your way. Although I don't believe in
it, I think if you can't stand your life and think only death will fix
it, then kill only yourself. There is so much help out there for people
who are in a bad way, that is why I don't believe in suicide. There is
no good reason to make all those other families miserable for your
inability to cope. My prayers and thoughts go out to those families
whose relatives were hurt or killed today.

Unfortunately, asj4u is correct. I lived in Denver when the Columbine
tragedy took place. I looked at my co-workers that day and said that
Dillon and Klibolt will be names that we will always remember.
Now in Virginia, 32 unfulfilled lives will go namelessly into history.

I know what you mean for I'm praying for the ones who did make it
through and my hearts goes out for them and the parents of those who
didn't make it as well. I had hope that he had seek out God before he
decided to take other lives as well as owned:(

there is no answer for stupidity and ignorance. thats like asking why
don imus said what he said. it just goes back to ignorance. its a shame
that people do things like that. but it happens and we can only ask why
it does. we will never be able to exactly say why it does, not even
doctors can really give you the truth to the matter of it all. people
just flip sometimes, and we wont ever get to the bottom of it

To ask "why" of a senseless rampage is senseless in itself. Crimes of
this nature are beyond reasoning.

I agree that this is a totally senseless act. I also agree that if he
had to do something then just kill himself. He probably killed people
today that he didn't really even know. So what was the purpose in that?
I just pray for all of those that have been affected by this tradegy and
hope that each one can at least get some closure in days to come.

I agree that this is an absolutely true statement - but I hope you
aren't serious about implementing it as a solution. Think of the
implications to freedom of the press, and freedom of speech. It would
be better if publishers simply chose not to publish the info, and media
consumers agree that its a good idea.

But the media doesn't agree. From prime time news to the tabloids. By
this time tomorrow, we will all know this idiots name.
