How can a man tell on a first date if the woman was money-hungry?
If I'm asking for his wallet for some chips before the date ends.

probaly if she asks about your assets or orders the most pricey things
She asks a lot of questions about your personal finances... expects you to flip all the bills/tabs and tries to get the most out of you in such a short amount of time!!

What is this "money" thing you speak of?
If she is constantly mentioning how much stuff costs... like her purse, her shoes, her car, your car, etc....

It's when your asking her out and she demands you bring your financial advisor with you on the date.

How can a man tell on a first date if the woman was money-hungry? If I notice dollar bills stuck in between her teeth. |

He'll just ask her while she's taking a bite of food at dinner and wait for her to choke?

First off I don't think a guy has to break the bank going on dates. And it certainly is smart to be a little conservative until you acertain a person's values. I don't know about the first date but if you take her out several times and she never offers to treat or say bring you a snack at the movie, prepare a picnic, or a home cooked meal then I would think she was incredibly selfish. I have reciprocated boyfriends with various gifts such as gift certificates for car detailing, tickets to sports matches or, Home Depot cards or Get well baskets. If it seems only one way then I wouldn't bother. I do think complaining about how much things cost is tackey but maybe she is trying to tell you that you don't have to buy her affection and she would be more comfortable with not flaunting your money.

How can a man tell on a first date if the woman was money-hungry? I personally have no clue, I am going to wing it. talking about all the gifts she gets, her lifestyle, and how she expects to maintain it. If she wants a certian style but has no assets to obtain it. I think dating should not be expensive and certianly not the first one. I know the true gentleman will offer to pick up the entire tab on the dates but in this day of horrible economy I decline an expensive date on the first date. I also expect to treat him along the line also. |

If she is constantly mentioning how much stuff costs... like her purse, her shoes, her car, your car, etc.... I have a friend like that. She if VERY proud to tell people her wedding dress only cost a dollar. |
