I could sit here and say yes and pretend its okay. But honestly, I really miss having someone special in my life. But since I cannot rush a relationship and learned to NOT jump into anything too quickly I'll just be happy and content being single, for now anyway. That's what I am doing, too.  And a comment to your other reply, no need to get depressed. Just be patient and your soulmate will come along. Thanks.

Oh ya .. and as to looks? Again .. *sigh* I'm thinkin it's a KNOWN FACT guys are the more visually driven gender. They have this "hot woman" image they are looking for when they are balding, pot bellied and old enough looking to be the woman's father. Ya. so....   I have seen that argument around here on multiple occasions. Perhaps men ARE more visually driven. But ya know what? I simply do not believe that 99.99999999% of women will EVER take the time to get to know someone that they are not attracted to. I am not referring to a friendship. I am referring to relationship/marriage potential. What would be the point? By the way..I AM bald, I HAVE a pot belly. Whether or not I look old enough to be some woman's father is up for debate. Are you telling me that you aren't at all picky in who you date?? Some random ugly dude works just fine for you?? It's not about being "picky" .. it's, for me, ALL about chemistry. A guy can be hot as hell, (and I've been hit up by a great share of them) and if I don't sense connection .. I'm not goin further. Period. But, I find I am never attracted to big 'mountain' type men either. But that's my point. There has to be an attraction of some sort. So looks, no matter how much people want to deny it, does play a part. For some, it plays a bigger part than it does for others. But it always plays SOME part. |
