Why would you give someone a polio vaccine for Christmas? She should have had vaccine in grade school or earlier.....

The point of the commercial was about donating to causes. But the way it was expressed was completely off kilter. The guy gave the girl a box with a polo vaccine. But she was a grown woman, long past the age of getting polio let alone the vaccine. It's like they don't really think.

Like the commercial for a new heart med. The patient is sitting in the doctor's office and the doctor is saying, "Tell me if you are going in to have surgery......"

Um, if your patient is going in for surgery, you know already. You have to set up the surgery.

The entire dialoge was the doctor telling the patient to tell him all the stuff he should already know before things would get to that point.

The info was correct, but the presentation was so off that it ends up distracting a person from the intened message.

Vaccinations are such a load of crap...what they're doing is injecting you with dead viruses or whatever, but even dead, those little bastards can play havoc with the body of a small child. And this is something I've experienced first hand.

One of my earliest memories took place when I was 3 or 4. I was barely out of diapers and hadn't started school yet when my mother took me to the church in town to get some vaccinations. I don't recall for what virus, but I remember that the needle looked like the biggest, most intimidating thing I ever saw.

As we were leaving the church, I vividly recall my legs going numb. They just stiffened, I couldn't so much as move them, let alone walk on them. Mom had to carry me home. The feeling returned to my legs about 30 or so minutes later and there was never another problem, but that numbness....

Another family that were friends with ours took their girl to get similar vaccinations a year or two later...I don't know if its true or not, but a relative told me that they attributed the girl's retardation to what the vaccine did.

For some kids the vaccines can save their life. My son has a weakened immune system due to the genetic disorder he was born with. He was given the chicken pox vaccine (like all kids get) and several people told me that some kids get chicken pox so bad that its dangerous. So getting that vaccine could ultimately save his life. He has gotten them all and only had a reaction to one several years back, but after a few doses of Motrin he was back to himself again.
