Topic: did you know that CIA.... | |

Someone once said that if there was a sea level waterway across Panama
with large volumes of tidal water flow that this would effect the Gulf stream and have huge effects on the weather systems. I think that the argument was that if global warming causes the gulf stream to collapse then there would be a new ice age and only cutting the waterway through Panama could save the day for human life. |

Was that before or after they located those undersea methane deposits.
The frozen ones, that if they melt, would make our planet look like Venus? So many theories on how global warming's gonna kill us that it isn't even funny. But at least we're all agreed that it's gonna kill us. |

Don't know about the methane deposits.
Now back to the CIA. Can we get an investigation of the KGB and its involvement in supporting Chavez and Ortega? Is it worth consideration that the democratic process might have been subverted in the interest of geopolitics by Russia or perhaps others? Did anybody notice that the voting machines that elected so many democrats the last round were built by a company owned by Venezuela? Was our own election subverted? |

Wouldn't have mattered. The circuitry and programming was all done in
the sates. There's no sabotage they could have pulled off. Unless the machines were designed collapsed and kill voters. For whatever good that might do. And I'm ready to believe that the votes, if rigged, were in the Republican's favor. Because they did SURPRISINGLY well, considering the negative impact an unpopular war has on the President's party. |

I was honestly expecting (as the experts, on both sides of the
political fence, did) a 70% or so democratic winning spree. They got a bit over 50%. Guess democrats just don't vote as much as republicans. Or something. Of course, I don't for a second believe the voter devices were actually RIGGED. |
