How many of you are spending Christmas alone? I know I am...with the exception of my cats and dog. Should be fun!

other then working that day and spending it with 150 elderly people.....once I am off I will be alone with the cat.

This will be the first Christmas I haven't been alone. My mom planned christmas at my house this year

christmas eve is always spent with my family and the kids get to wake up christmas morning here with me at home. if the weather is warm as expected, and the precipitation we're expecting falls as rain and not snow, and my flight is on time, i'll be spending christmas evening/night with robin for the very first time. we'll get to bring in the new year together as well. |

I've been alone this time of year for the past 6 or so years...what's another anyway? Besides I don't celebrate so it really doesn't bother me.

i put a tree up but I took it down today. It just seemed a little too ridiculous having it up.

I guess when my last kid is out on her own I'll put up some little tree and very few decorations. I at least have both my kids, my new grandson, daughter's hubby, a brother, his wife and 2 kids coming over. But if I didn't offer and ask, it would be much smaller. |

I just put up a few decorations and lights around the window outside, so it looks like I at least made SOME effort. Nobody will see that there's nothing decorated inside the house anyway.
I'll be spending Christmas with thousands of folks....right here on Mingle. |

Hummmmmmm well you did more then I did this year kinda funny really for I have enough Christmas Decorations that my house normally looks like a Christmas wonderland but just have not been in the mood to decorate the last two years. |

ok anyone who doesnt have plans.. you are all officaly invited to my moms house. we always have strays anyway. and we love it.. there is always to much food, and i promice the family drama will be entertaining you long into the new year..

I don't have any reason to go all out. Ain't nobody gonna see it anyway, with the possible exception of my daughter, and she's a teenager, which means she's in her own little world with her friends. Yep I hear ya well both of my kids are grown with life's of their own. I did not decorate last year due to I was sick for almost 3 months and really did not care. This year call me lazy just did not feel like messing with it all. Maybe next year. But regardless I will still cook Christmas day and well I know my son will be there and possible one of our friends that ends up alone for the Holidays will join us as well. Sure my daughter will drop by as well. |

I will be home alone on Christmas Day until I go to work for 2nd shift.
I am gonna crank up the music, dance around the house and pretend that it is just another day - the plan is not to dwell on the fact that I am alone on an important calendar date of the year. I will also be visiting my new friends here on Mingle who happen to be enjoying "just another day" as well. Here's to you all.  Merry Christmas!
