Why is it when you are respectful and not interested in a man they then degrade you and try to make you feel horrible? I am shocked as this was happening to me and some very horrible things were being said. Pretty sad. I know they feel like ca ca maybe because you were not interested but to be flat out mean is just wrong. I guess you could say I shed a few tears today. :O(

It's the assholes like that that give the decent guys a bad name. Unfortuantely, the dinks are the ones who tend to be remembered the most, thus leading to the typical blanket statements about men (no insinuation to the OP).

my good friend is only my friend, and i dont give him any mixed messages or anything and he knows we are only friends, but every once in a while hell just straight up say he hates me and doesnt want to talk to me and im blahblahblah stuff like that, and then the next week hell want to be friends again, i dont get it.

I had a lady tell me if I shave and get a hair cut she would go out with me. Change before she met me.

I don't lose any sleep over it, because they don't know me. Let 'em make their judgement calls, and shine 'em on, because there's hundreds of thousands of people who DO know me. Some guys have no repect. This is just a fact of life. Don't let it get to you. You look great. Hell, I'd go out with you. But, my focus always will be...First friends, then beyond. Whenever you meet a guy wanting you to be thier's in even a couple weeks...thier rather quick. I may be young, but the only relationship that held for 8 months, was the one I first was a friend for 2, then the ball rolled. Distance is what spilt us... but we're still friends. Many men feel the "need" and do not hold it back. When horomones come first...you'll now, because they react like timebombs. Personally...I've stopped going out due to time constraints and bad weather. It's given me too much damn time to think. As for the men dissing you. ...They're honestly not worth the time.
