Mirror,

I showed my child these pics this morning. My child said, "Mom, no offense, but that one picture makes your nose look freaky big."

I guess y'all didn't hear that Sarah Palin repeatedly supported sex education that includes information about condoms and birth control.

Uh...she's right...those issues ARE private matters and should not be public issues using public funding. DUH!

That's DEMS trying to force everyone to their way of thinking & making public policy using public funding that make real rights a crime. Law breakers...that what LIB DEMS stand for. they aren't called the COUNTER culture for no reason. Counter everything that makes a people good that is.

Actually Bristol Palin did get sex ed. Either her choice of method did not work, or she didn't pay attention in class, or maybe she intentionally got pregnant. [shrug] At any rate that does not change the fact that Palin does not oppose teaching about birth control in school.

I totally agree. How much fun is it to jump on the bash Sarah Palin bandwagon? She wuoldn't ven have gotten half of all that **** if she was a man. Anyway, she is not going to be the VP, so why bother discussing her views on birth control education? It would be much more interesting to note for example that Obama does not intend to do anything to change gun laws in America.

Why is Sarah still discussed?

Because she is being shaped and packaged as a future candidate.

That is why her views and actions are relevant.

Oh, I was responding to the fact that I believe safer sex practices and personal responsibility when it comes to sex should be taught in schools. We know we'll never prevent many from engaging in sex at that level. Let's at least keep our families safe. Educating them isn't going to make most run out and want to do it. That's most likely going to happen with or without the education and protection.

I thought the "just say no" campaigns were a bust - on many levels. Am I mistaken?

True, and statistically abstinence education does help reduce teen pregnancy.

Why is it so terrible to teach abstinence education in addition to birth control?
