Topic: What are the BEST things about being single? | |
---|---|
I come and go as I please. Do what I want, when, where, how and with who I want. Noone leaving a mess behind and me cleaning up after them. No one being a lazy bum while I make the money and do all the stuff around the house. Wow I guess there are some good things about being single after all See ? you feel better knowing there ARE some perks. I'm not saying I want to always be single but I do want to make the most of it right now. |

Not having to adjust my schedule or plans for someone else (besides my son). Definetly a good thing. |

I never did adjust my schedule for the ones that acted like babies.

She doesn't have to cook his favorite meal every night. 8) He doesn't have to hear "Why did you buy THAT?" She doesn't have to hear him say "You spent how much?" 9) He doesn't have to hear "Can't you put the lid down. She doesn't have to hear "Did you use my razor" And #10 He doesn't have to hear "You've been too tired for 4 nights. She doesn't have to hear "Did you take the batteries out of the remote again?" |

Being able to come and go as I'd like.
Oh, and the ability to say that was good. Bye now, I'll call you sometime! Joking...well a little. Not having to put up with anyone's moodiness. Not having in-laws!! |

Yes. I noticed that the "what's the worst thing about being single" thread was just catering to people's desire to feel sorry for themselves. I don't believe in that thought process. I think if you're so down just because you're single, there's more wrong with that picture than just being lonely. To me "lonely" is like "bored".... Heck people...get off your butts and realize we are all captains of our own ships. It may sound harsh but too many folks don't feel good about their lives, unless someone else is telling them that it's ok to feel good. jmo |

Not being compared to other women or feeling like I have to compete to hold on to someone.
Making my own decisions. |
