While it would be nice not to stress about paying the bills, NO. After a horrible marriage I know I want the REAL thing. LOVE, RESPECT, FRIENDSHIP, HONESTY, COMPANIONSHIP. The whole deal!!

Money cant buy happiness No.No it can't but it makes it much easier to be happy........and being poor and/or struggling makes it all the much easier to be miserable. |

If I get half and at least one of the cars, does housekeeping stay on board? Am I in the will?
what about the life insurance. Money will not buy happiness but it can sure get me stuff that will come close. Is she ugly or pretty? Has she had so many face lifts that the next one threatens to produce a beard? What about probate? is this taken care of or will it be a future problem.

The military encourages this and I gave them the big **** you so I've taken my stance on this issue. The military doesn't encourage this they realize that marriage and family creates larger expenses...and they sort of accommodate that, people abuse the system and "contract marriages" are quite frowned upon. AND FYI unless you happen to be stationed somewhere where you receive COLA (which is where they pay you per dependent vs. BAH which is the same sum regardless of number of dependents considering rank/pay grade and location are equal) it often is not enough to keep service members and their families off of welfare...sad but true. Of course you must remember the phrase "if they wanted you to have a wife and children they would have issued you one" No I would not marry for money. |

i seriously pondered this.. and honestly. i probibly would. i almost did. but then circumstances prevented it.. but i probibly would. were i not in a relationship and the opertunity presented itself..
wow.. im much more shallow and sad than i thought. |
