love is a choice that you make to feel or to not feel??

Love is so simple it is hard to understand. You can choose to love, but sometimes you love automagically.

I think it all depends. Sometimes love hits like a shot gun and you can't control it. It grows like an infection. If you are the type that can control it...then you are one extraordinary person. But, it all depends on who you are attracted to.

i dont think you can jsut chose to fall in love or not...i mean it seems it just happens.

question is, can you chose to love a person though ANYTHING no matter what? Oh my parents showed me this,they are my only reason for jumping in this forum. You see u have to trust that no matter what happens that you both will still be there for ech other, THAT takes commitment, Do u have it???

I agree, it just happens sometimes.. I can't make myself fall in love with someone.. but I have made the choice to deny it or supress it..

I believe that it is. I think one can decide to let their heart get involved or not. You know not to let it get involved with your best friend's boyfriend or husband, no matter how attractive they are.

well i was refering that if you are "choosing" to fall in love, then you are only fooling yourself for whatever reasons. I know people who start dating and then its "i am sOO in love with ___" which is completely taken out of contex to make them, personally, feel better, feel wanted, feel needed. Now weather or not they are is not the point, but i personally dont think that love can happen quickly. I wouldnt venture to imagine how long it would take some one to develop think enough skin for my and my ways .....So their statements have nothing to do with "love", its more about personal insecurity for them
