I agree that no religion is perfect for everyone. Each person has to find the religion that is perfect for them. If it promotes their spiritual growth and connects them to the Divine then it is the perfect religion for them.

maybe its more along the lines "No religion is perfect because there is no religion only wish's just as there is no perfect human because there are no humans, just animals

I absolutely agree with Ruth.

I found the religion that is perfect for me.

It most certainly won't be perfect for everyone else.

In fact, I'm positive of that.

The reason is quite simple.

My religion is not dogmatic at all.

It's extremely abstract.

It's a very personal relationship with spirit.

It can only be my religion.

Even those who may choose to follow a very similar path will most certainly do it in their own way.

It is the abstract nature of this religion that makes it perfect for me.

It's perfect because I make it so.

It is my communiqué with God.

And that's what makes it perfect.

Yes I agree. No religion is perfect because all religion is man-made in some form. Even if it is unorganized. There is no requirement that states that a religion needs to be perfect anyway. That seems like an unreasonable demand to place upon it. The closest to perfection you can find is what works best for you on a personal level. I certainly was familiar with what annoyed and pissed me off so once I found a form of spirituality that didnt incite such feelings, I knew this would be the right choice for me.

I imagine that happens to a lot of people.

I am non-religious! What do I care?

so did your great spirit create just you or everything, if each person beleives in his own holy spirit and that its their pesonal savior, you have officially cashed out religion and good day to you sir i want nothing more to do with it. Religion is why were fighting the wars we fight, why should we be fighting for someone/thing that never shows his/her face to us?
because they are to important? no we are made in his image apperantly so he must show us his face to give us security for our fate, but it will never happen because he doesent exist
