In case you haven't heard , the man running this show has stated that a
chat room would probably be the next feature to happen after the friends
list. However, we have no idea when this could happen, so the forum
boards will have to suffice till then. Or will it?

I was thinking maybe, if others are interested, we could pick a time and
meet online in a private Yahoo chat room made by one of us. just a nice
way to further get to know the members of the board, and maybe even a
practice run for when we finally do get a chat room here. So what do you
guys think? Does the idea have a little merit, or does it just suck all
the way around? -=x

Games and chat works for me, MynD...Can you make a private chat room
there in the Pogo rooms?

Just in Yahoo chat now.

Not much activity, just a lot of peep coming and going.

Well, Mr. FullMetal Sir...people kinda suck today...okay not ALL
people...my ex sucks (but that's prolly why he's my ex). Just found out
some pretty foul/disgusting/horrible/scandalous BS this evening and
frankly, it made me physically ill...but I guess that's why I've always
been told, "If it's got tires or testicles...it's bound to give you
problems"

Thanks hon...but don't apologize for someone else. I know who's wrong
here...and it's not you...and it's not me.

I'm not even sure I'm really mad at what happened. I think I'm more
upset with myself for not seeing what was right in front of my face.
And I feel like a fool. I was completely duped and that rarely happens.

And it sucks that someone I confided a weakness in turned around and
used it against me. That is just so wrong. Trust is just so very
fragile...

hey a yahoo chat room would be nice...and yes you can make a private
room! You can even name it....so someone can pick a time and name it
justsayhi or something like that....then that way we would know? But you
would have to let us know what catagory you put it under...like romance
or whatever. But it does sound nice, so let us know!!

that's great that they are adding a chat room here as for the idea about
using yahoo to chat till then i think it's a great idea now some one
mentioned using a chat that will allow you to play games how ever if
you sign into the chat room using your messenger not only can you im
people but you can play games and mark you fav room and sign in in just
a few seconds reguardless of what chat software you are running so my
suggestion is that some one creates a just say hi room on yahoo.com
infact i will do that in just a couple of min if i have time but also i
will keep checking on this topic to see if people have objections to
this or you can send me a mail that would be easier for me because i
have a lot to do today till then later my friends

i just tried to create a new chat room on yahoo and they will not allow
me to how ever we could meet in one of the friends rooms under the
romance section any way let me know

I kinda have mix feelings about a chartroom though. In my experience
with them has not been too good. You either know most of the people
there and have a great time, or you are just new and you have a lousy
time cause people tend it be a sort of clicks. I can remember trying to
chat with people there and I got little if no response. And besides that
I wouldn't see much of any real conversations accept for: brb, lol,
HeeeeeeYYYYYY! LMAO, ROFL, and all kinds of shit like that. As I said
really you wouldn't actually see the kinds of conversations we have here
in
the threads. Maybe things might be different with all of us? I still
personally like the forums better. The other thing too is that once the
chartrooms here get established, we may encounter the teeny boppers who
frequent these places and turn them into their own by infesting it with
the kind of examples I just described. well, I don't know what everyone
else's experience was like in those places but it would be interesting
to know.

Hey Ghost. Most of the rooms are filled with bots who spam the hell out
of you. There are a few good rooms that play music and the people are
ok, but the majority of rooms are filled with teenagers trying to get
you to look at their websites. I'll wait for the chat room here.

I think you are right Ghost about the click thing! Hopefully that won't
happen here...maybe this site will be different? I know I use to have a
few rooms I would go to, but then it got to the point to where it was
boring, and so many bots.
I think it would be interesting to see how this chat thing is going to
go, it seems like everyone gets along and everyone seems very
interesting. I think it will be a good thing!!

i don't like the general flow of conversation in a chat room format and
it really complcates things when you get more than 2 people involved in
a discussion. i like the way the forums on this site are, they are some
of the better ones i have seen and i think that adding an instant
messenger as a feature will enhance the site because if you see a post
that you like you can im that person and have a free flowing
conversation.

OH I have to agree with that, sometimes you get 3 or 4 different
conversations going...it is very difficult to stay with it and keep
focused. Thats whats good about having a private IM like
yahoo..hopefully that will be coming soon also :)

Yeah! I agree with you King.

The forums are by far the better of the format with IM too.
And yes the flow of Chatroom conversation is confusing, plus I not have
quite the updated system that might not handle the chatting. It
sometimes gets slow and I have to logoff and reboot to cearout all the
stuff in memmory. So i guess my vote is for just IM only.

hey BTW. who's ever on Yahoo. Do you follow the guy in the Religion and
Spirituality Q&A called The (What should I do retard.)

He has some new posts. There not as good as they use to be, but I'm glad
he's back.
