to have feelings for someone without meeting them, only through words such as e mail and that sort of thing...I mean do you REALLY think that physical attraction isnt everything?? I have been talking to someone on here who believes that you dont have to meet someone in person to feel connected with them and that words are sometimes more powerful then anything else! Just wanted someone elses opinion because im unsure.

You can totally connect with someone with out seeing them! It actually makes the eventual first meeting much easier as you already know so much about each other. Becoming friends first is the best way to develop a lasting relationship. My parents and grandparents were great examples of that!! Just be completely honest with each other and let things happen naturally!

I know for me that it can happen, sometimes it's a feeling that you get deep with in your heart, you read there profille and somehow, you feel a strong and powerful bond by there words. Ive had that happen to me a few times... Ive been told that this person was feelinf down and when they saw what I had in my profile it gave them hope and courage that anything is possiable, thats the kind of connection I want to have, I want to be able to have a lasting impression even if it's only as a friend...its very nice to be able to connect to someone that way.

I believe it can happen...but you have to be careful too because the person may sound like a dream, but in reality, they are creative writers or speakers that can easily deceive a person. That, and some guys are swingers. Ha ha! I'm talking to a guy who's a swinger. But I'm still his friend.

Oh I definately feel like you can fall for someone without ever meeting them... All kinds of factors play into it but I definately think its possible..In FACT i KNOW it is.....

well he is telling me that he cares for me already and part of me is buyin it and we have talked on the phone for hours it seems but i just never really thought that you could have those feeling for someone just through the internet and we plan on meeting soon but now im more nervous because i feel like his expectations are already high!

All things are possible.

I wouldn't dare pin my hopes or risk my feelings on a virtual Romance...but that's just me talking about me.

Just keep talking sweetheart.. if its real youll know in the first 10 seconds after you meet!!!!! And if it isnt, you were blessed with feelings you do have now even if it was for a short period of time... Everything happens for a reason... And if these feelings are already surfacing just imagine how wonderful it could be in person.. I know its hard sometimes.. but try to look at the glass half full instead of empty...

Yep! It happened to me. I was talking online with someone for a while and had a great connection. However, once we met things didn't happen. The situation have some mitigating circumstances that interfered. I do have a life long friend out of it.

I do recommend being as grounded and realistic as possible until you are able to met b/c that is the second half of the story (you have yet to discover!)
