Topic: Three Tarot Cards for your imagination | |
---|---|
As I am clearly no expert in reading Tarot Cards, I want to see what you see in them for entertainment purposes if you had those three cards drawn for you. Create a story if these cards appeared before your eyes and what you may see in them. Now I know they aren't your personal cards and this isn't how it works, but for entertainment purposes what would you say you see in the cards if drawn in the order I give you.
Three Card Spread Card 1 will be in the middle Card 2 will be laid on the left side from the middle card Card 3 will be laid on the right side from the middle card Card 1 is (you) = the question Card 2 is (what to do) Card 3 is (what not to do) -------------------------------------------------- |

For me, tarot is only meaningful when a question is being asked or a specific thought is being pondered. Otherwise they cards can have such abstract meanings that they can vitually mean anything.
In other words, for me, it is the question that is being asked, or the concern being pondered, that gives a spread meaning. However, even in the abstract the cards you dealt make sense. One reason for this is because you've assigned to card 1 the question itself. In other words, I would view the reason as follows: Card 1 is (you) = the question Card 1 = King of Pentacles To me Pentacles represents manifestation, specifically physical manifestation. I know a lot of people associate penticles with money, but money is just symbolic of physical manifestation (i.e. with money you can buy things). So since card 1 is the question itself, I take the question to be one of manifestation. How do I manifest something? Card 2 is (what to do) Card 2 = King of Swords This is certainly fitting because the King of Swords represents the master of reason and methodology. If you want to manifest something you should appeal to the reason of methodology associated with manifestation. So that certainly makes sense. The card matches the position and is meaningful in view of the question being asked. Card 3 is (what not to do) Card 3 = 5 of Swords Again a very fitting card for the position that it represents. (i.e. What not to do). The Five of Swords represents self-interest, dishonor, discord. Well, clearly if you're original question is "How do I manifest something?" a good answer of what not to do is to become self-aborbed, dishonerable and in a state of discord. You certainly aren't about to follow reason and methodology in that state of mind. So just abstractly speaking the spread makes perfect sense to me. But clearly this is my own personal perception and reading. If you want to manifest something pay attention to the methodologies that will bring that about and follow them with reason. If you don't do that and instead become self-absorbed with your own dishonerable distractions, then you won't achieve the manifestation that you had initially hoped for. |

It is a good idea in a three card spread to place the first card drawn in the middle representing either the present (time wise) or the situation or problem (= the question) or the person (= who a person this reading is about.)
If the first card drawn is one that represents a person, like the king of Pentacles in this case, it could represent your energy or a person close to you. -- -- -- -- -- -- Card one: The King of Pentacles In this case I don't identify with the King of Pentacles or his energy. He is a square peg in a square hole. A practical business man. I would interpret this card as my father. (The Who, or the subject of the reading.) Kings often represent father figures or older men. Card # 2 King of Swords What to do. ~Use good judgment and reasoning in dealing with the situation. Realize that you are the one who will make the rational decisions. Don't take things personally. It tells me that I need to be strong and clear headed in communicating and caring for my father who is sometimes very difficult and combative. Card #3 Five of Swords This card supports the advice of the King of Swords. What not to do. Don't get caught in petty conflict in the situation. Stay clear headed and reasonable. Keep your head. **************** NOTE: Since I did not draw these cards myself, they don't really apply to me, but if I had drawn them, this is how I would read the energy for me, which is what you asked. But they don't feel like they were a message for me. ************************** |

Card 1 = The Chariot
Card 2 = 9 of cups Card 3 = Strength -- -- -- -- -- -- (I got them in the wrong place the first time so I changed them. Now they have a different meaning) The Chariot: You are the hero who creates his own destiny. You are going on a journey. Unlike the fool, the person who drives the Chariot knows the reason for his journey. You are ambitious and you forge ahead like Indiana Jones on a mission using bravado, self-discipline and shear will power. 9 of cups-- What to do. Decide what you want. You can't get what you want or manifest what you want if you don't know what you want. Strength -what not to do Don't use your power for the control or manipulation of others against their will. |
