My son suffers from motion sickness when ever he's in a car...his Dr. said to chew gum or mints or even tootsie rolls and it works for him. I don't know if it would work the same for sea sickness....someone else told me about Airborne for everything that ails you.

I've been having to deal with my morning sickness while at work, and to ease it up a little I suck on cinnamon candies. I don't know if the cinnamon is really easing the nausea or if it's just a mind thing going on, but either way it helps me out.

i'm betting it will pass |

If you're not usually seasick, there is probably something else causing your nausea.

call for a corpsman and get a p*ssy patch (dramamine)
I once was on the North Atlantic in winter after spending a year in drydock. Almost half of the crew was incapacitated from seasickness. All we could do was tie a trash bag to our belt so we could puke in it and keep on workin |

Have a nice slice of aged salted pork served in a dirty ashtray :)
The closer you are to the middle bottom of the ship you are, the less pitching, rolling, up, down, sway........urp..you will notice. The higher and more bow and stern you are, the more you can expect to see that omelet you had for breakfast again. |

As a teen in Hawaii, Id crew on a 40' trimaran. A friend and I,(they trusted this ship to two 18 year olds,,,) would sail tourists out past diamond head for a moonlight cruise.
I got sick once... the night I ate 3 sloppy joes. I got sick, and then so did the 20 tourists. Thats why I joined the Air Force, lol |
