I have had two girl friends get back with an ex in the last year! All I have to say is WTF!!!!!

It depends maybe they were meant for each other and that's why they are back with them or they just don't learn and are eager for trouble. I don't know them so I can't say but you as a friend should tell them how you feel about it and after that it's their decision.
