Well freaky, I haven't been able to run since being injured, so there
goes your theory. I would be easy prey if love was chasing me.....lol.
Just kidding.

The thought of being in a relationship again is scary. Only becasue I
have been single for some time and have taken the time to change some
things within my self, better know me and what I want and need from and
for myself. The next relationship I am in, is with the intent and
desire of a lifelong committment, which is why I chose to wait and
prefer to wait. Not running......all the rest is fluff, smoke and
mirrors.

If the woman or man has been hurt in a prior relationship,I believe
people build up walls and yes they may even run from true love perhaps
believing it didn't work out last time. Keeping a distance may seem
safer than being vulnerable again.
Love is certainly a risk. I use to live my life like it's better to
take that risk than to wish I had as an old woman in a rocking chair...
better to live life than to run from it. However, that was BEFORE
getting hurt for the second time around. Since then I have my own walls,
insecurities to deal with. I know that to be in a healthy relationship
you need to get rid of the garbage or baggage from the past before you
can move forward.

i agree with myst..but i have found alot of men run from true love..at
least with me guess just not havin any luck right now..just
seems like every guy i hook up with, doesnt want to commit..they r too
scared ..been hurt b4 in the past or whatever it is, so they dont
want to go any further then friends..they have to realize life goes on
and to move forward..i've been hurt in the past too, i've gotten over
it, i learn from mistakes and i try to move on.

Can't say I'm running either just still shopping guess I need go to
Sears for what I'm looking for think he's in there LOL
