Hair that is longer than my eyebrows drives me insane when I try to work, or read, or do most of my hobbies.

But I love the look as long as I'm not actually trying to do anything.

For the past 2 yrs in March, I've cut my hair short. I don't know what drove me to do it.

Now, I'm past the hair cutting stage. It's down to the middle of my back again.

I agree, You have to have the right bone structure to wear short hair.

JMO, I love all the cuts you've shown. I wish my face was thin enough to wear them, but, alas it's not, hence long hair...LOL

If your hair is bugging you at work or play...do what I do...wear it in a bun...sure, it makes me question my masculinity at times but, it is better than having it sucked into machinery.

What really bugs me is the two hours is takes me to style properly. My hair is thick and porous and holds on to water. Takes half an hour just to dry enough to start working with it.

Two hours? I just don't get it...I often have women ask me how long it takes to do my hair...15 minutes out of the shower (Blowdry and brush) or about 5 strokes of a brush in the morning...What the hell do you ladies do to your hair?

well, to do it properly right now, so it looks good, I have to blow dry it most of the way, while making it very fluffy, and using a huge round bristle brush, then I have to use some smoother on it and use a flat iron and curl it under small segment by small segment. It is a royal pain.

When I straighten mine with the straightener, it can take up to an hour to do, depending on where I'm going and who is going to see me..LOL

My hair is VERY thick and long. So perfect in my eyes if I'm meeting someone special!

Just my approach...if I want fluffy big hair...drive 10 minutes down the road with the windows down...it gets aborigine big.

I just don't see the point of fluffing then smoothing and straightening...(I am just a guy so you have to allow a certain amount of ignorance on my part) If I want smooth and straight...just blowdry and brush the hell out of it till it is what I want...then use a little dab of conditioner to smoothe down any flyaways.

If I want fluffy and wavy...just let it dry without brushing.

Either you girls are over thinking it or I am just under thinking it...but, I do have this going for me...I guarantee I check out more women than you guys do...so my opinion should count for something! hehehehehe

Agreed with the bangs comment...liked group #1 photos best but NOT photo 6 in that group...the rest are pretty great. Spikey with some length in front would be fantastic!

How'd you get it to grow so fast?

I've been growing out a short spikey do all year and my current pic is just about 5 weeks ago. I realize it took a lot of trim and trim again to get it shaped well, but it'll take me at least until summer to get it to my chin at this rate!
