When you answer, the phone, what do you say?

or just the standard, HELLO, GOODBYE, ?

depends on who's calling

i look at caller id first

Sometimes I get bored and answer the phone with "Taco Bell, we are out of tacos- thank you, drive thru"

I like to pretend I am the the dry cleaners down the block and only speak Chinese...

I screen all of my calls with the answering machine.

I say 'herro chinese takeaway'

While I was working in a seperate part of the building at work, away from the rest of my co-workers, I answered the phone:

Never-neverland, Peter Pan speaking, how may I help you?

(One person who had the wrong number asked me where Never-neverland was and I told them......Second star to the right and straight on till morning...............they hung up real quick!! )

Ive got caller id. So i answer hello and thier name

I dont answer my cell phone, that is what I have voice mail for.

i check the caller id..

if i dont know the ## i usualy let the machiene get it.. (not the biggest fan of bill collectors.. heheh

if it is my sis in laws.. i say in a crappy brittish accent.. "'ello muffin" they reply with "'ellooooooo..."me "ello!!!" and so on.. we can do that for a super long time before we aucutualy start talking ... and have on a large ## of occasoins forgotten why we have called eachother cuz of that..

if its my best friend.. she gets.. "well hello b!tchface" she replies with "hi slutbag" and then we talk...

if its brad..."Hello honey!! what ya wearing?"
