ghosts are not a belief, they are real, and they are just us, passed. good, bad, angelic, and hainous. they are still us.
ghosts of items are the coolest though, but one needs a camera to see that. there's a sconce light that's in the state palace theater, that i could show you today, or ten years from now. but it's not physically in the wall, only in the camera, does it appear.

I think it depends on your imagination Twilights, I bought a home that everyone said was haunted..I actually got a great deal on it because nobody woould buy it..I remodled, and moved in..other then the normal settling, never once heard or saw a ghost...if you have a hyperactive imagination..I guess it would be a bad idea! Good Luck and you will have great place for Halloween!!

I like the home because the price is right. Its a big home with a lot of class. Beautiful chandeler, big fireplace....built in bookcases, large bedrooms, the formal dining room has great big oak sliding doors...I think its beautiful

I believe in ghosts, I just dont know why they would want to haunt a funeral home. they came there deceased..right? Wouldnt they hang around the place they actually died?

See my thoughts on it is a funeral home is probably the safest place to live when choosing an older home. Most likely its one of the only houses a hundred years old that someone didn't die IN. But the embalming room is going to be my art studio...I wont make anyone sleep in it.

I own a house built in 1903. Nobody has died in it.

i thought as you do...even more skeptical, but i can show you active things that would certainly blow your mind. on and off camera. it's fascinating, i assure you. the sconce i spoke of earlier would be one of the first. it's amazing.

I was thinking that. They didn't die there.

I used to live in a old house growing up. The lights would be on downstair when we woke up, you'd be home alone and hear someone walking upstairs, doors that we kept locked would suddenly be wide open. that house as far as we knew had no history, yet I think it was the most haunted house I've ever seen. I think a houses history adds character, hopefully not ghosts.

it depends, they think like us, for they are us.....so they might enjoy creepy places. or....it depends on the individual that has died, and what his circumstances were. he may have worked there, or sometimes, there is a nasty impression. wills are sometimes read in funeral homes, and unrest may be the result.

here in Roswell, New Mexico--we have houses they say, aliens lived in also. Ghosts, aliens,or other things, in dwellings might be interesting to try out.surprised shocked(The main thing is that you are happy , with what you buy.)

I think you should sit back and enjoy it, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks..if you like it and are happy, that is the important thing..as far as ghosts..you can believe what you want about it, I have seen people swear that they were in my house, tell me all the stories and guess what...they must have all moved out, beacause other then normal sounds of wood expanding and contracting with heat and cold, not a sound...Now I have a beautiful old home, I completely remodeled it and all that cost me less then buying another "unhaunted" home..the only noises I hear now are.....well never mind!! hahahha

it could also be the result of something there before we were all here. our cemetaries and native american cemetaries were moved quite more frequently than we were led to believe. sometimes in the cover of night, to cause less or no commotion. no rest for the persuit of business.

whether a house is old or new is not a factor. it may be that the person is comfortable there still, and they stay, or that something tragic took place, and has now left an impression, doomed to repeat over and over. nola has so many that it make for a great walking tour, lol.

personally, i'd be traveling space to see what's out there, and all the oceans too.
