I am a person who is very into looking nice at all times even on the weekends. My fella isn't so into dressing up. I don't mean suit or anything, but a nice button down shirt nice jeans, and shoes or boots other than tennis shoes. Is this wrong that I feel like he should look as good as I look for him. We only get to see each other on the weekend I might add.

but at the same time you don't want to make him an accesory. ("ohhhh that jacket will look so good with my new shoes") some girls do that |

took him shopping this past weekend and bought him some clothes that he is going to wear when he comes to Christmas and we go to his stuck up sisters house...he will look adorable and comfy...he actually liked them and said they feel good...I think he thought that dressing up meant feeling constricted like sitting in a church pew

to each his own, but from the outside in, i would have thought he would make more of an effort dress wise. i don't know if you've confronted him about it, im guessing you have done because your on here regarding it. im sure if you continue doing what your doing, he'll start getting the hint
but weekends are for chilling and relaxing, maybe hes trying to tell you something, dress down relax and have a good time, what ever the weather |

he works in a loading dock...he wears jeans and a tee shirt everyday. I am just saying when we are going out make an effort and yes I have talked to him about it..that is why we went shopping together

Theres an old saying "CLOTHES DO NOT MAKE THE MAN " I happen to agree, but he could dress in a nice button down shirt once in a while so that she can rip it off of him later.
