Yes, I have had a few nasty ones, I just email them back with a, well you know me, so just imagine what I say Kim, I changed mine and I get emails asking me why I am on a dating site I've had that too....and been called some pretty nasty names for being on here and having someone....they keep this up, we are going to have to gather all of our great big guy friends to start a "why'd you ask her that?" post Just imagining it has me laughing and close to tears

Uhmm, I read at bit of it, sometimes all of it, always check the emails filters. That can say more than anything else in their profile.

Only time I read a profile is when they say something to gain my attention in forums.

I have to read the profile. It's nice to be physically attracted to someone, but if there is no interest or common ground other than that it won't last. Before I waste my time I want to know if there is anything solid there.

I rarely read profiles any more. The 942,313th vapid, boring, two-sentence embarrassment is really no different from the 942,312th.

I should probably update mine. Im no longer "new to the area" but have been here a while now. I guess I never really bothered to write any kind of extended exegesis about myself because I figured if anyone was interested, they would just ask. The truth of the matter is that men are visual creatures. They look at photos first and foremost. Im not saying ALL men of course. It just seems that generally they will take the time to look at your photos and they may or may not read your profile. That was another reason I did not bother to go into a lot of detail.
