On this day 28years ago John Lennon was taken from this world.


John Lennon 9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980

I was living in Ft. Collins Colo. My first wife and I were having dinner at a friends house. I remember we had been discussing the new Talking Heads album. Me and my friend James had to go to the store for something and left our wives at the apt. We heard it over the radio in the store, and when we got in the car we listened to the news. We told the girls when we got back, they didn't believe us. It was just too strange, to have one of the Beatles murdered.

Thank you for this loving reminder. I can still remember attending a memorial service for him in Orlando at Lk. Eola Park...we should all try to keep his dream alive & just IMAGINE...
