Topic: Dream on! | |

James Allen in "As a Man Thinketh" describes dreamers ...
The dreamers are the saviours of the world. As the visible world is sustained by the invisible, so men, through all their trials and sins and sordid vocations, are nourished by the beautiful visions of their solitary dreamers. Humanity cannot forget its dreamers; it cannot let their ideals fade and die; it lives in them; it knows them as the realities which it shall one day see and know. Composer, sculptor, painter, poet, prophet, sage, these are the makers of the after-world, the architects of heaven. The world is beautiful because they have lived; without them, laboring humanity would perish. What are your thoughts about his words? Do you dare dream? What do you dream? Are you content with the dreams of others? |

I am a dreamer, always was, and in my dreams there were no borders, only
love and understanding. One can still wish and dream. It's a great topic, thanks Sherrie |

We visit dreamers in slumber...
I think it doesn't matter the dream, or vision... wether it be mighty, or humble... All are valid. It is what is created by such through actions as the vessels we are that brings the dream to eyes, hands, ears, senses... Wisdom comes from life lesson, not books. I fear a lot don't see the lasting effects that thier actions have....ripples, chain reaction. matter and energy. When we bring a thing to the mind of one, they may carry it further, or change it. If seen as a whole, from above... imagine the sheer volume of dreams, painting, words..thoughts stitching, weaving, twisting... Just too much to describe. |

Ahhh dreams ... the stuff of life.
All things begin with a dream. Energy first then matter. Pulled from the ether by a thought. The utensils we eat with - somebody dreamed them. The cars we drive - somebody dreamed it. This house called JSH that we play in - somebody dreamed it. We are in a perpetual state of creation yet we roll through life and barely contemplate it. We are all dreamers in a collective dream. The question is are we passive or active dreamers. I have been called a dreamer by others in a tone that suggested it was a bad thing ... like I somehow needed to justify it. Dreamer. Yes, I will wear that title. I am inspired by the mere notion of it. Thank you for all your responses. And yes, Jax - a lottery win passes through my dreams too |

here but seeing our faces. |

I have big dreams...always have, awake or asleep...
People I need to know come to me in my sleeping dreams, visit me and remind me that I know them..and then I do. I meet them in my reality. My waking dreams vary so, dreams of a gentle life, a healthy life for all that I care for. Dreams of a yacht 30', and a date with a deserted beach...just me and the West Samoan Islands, reefs to surf, endless summer... Tranquility. I dream of tranquility, in a world gone mad. |

The world is a dream, and sometimes a nightmare. It all depends what you
wanna see and dream about. It is all in the mind... My dreams are like my 8-track mind. I can have two or more at the same time. Last week I dreamed two nights in a row I got electrocuted by a battery. I stood up out if my body, turned around and saw my mom sitting, she was waiting for me. The worrying thing was my younger sister was there waiting for me to. And she is alive! I wonder... In dreams we are free. Sometimes I can control my dreams. Before I fall asleep I start one. When I slip in to unconsciousness it will follow the story-line. I have a dream... Day and night! |

Right now the head line of my profile is "A dream becomes a goal when
action is taken toward its achievement." It is a quote that I read somewhere. I do not remember who said it or even wrote it. I think it is important to dream. It keeps your faith alive. Gives you something to strive for, to believe in. And that is important in a world like the one we live in. I love reading peoples poetry, it shows you a part of who they are, what they desire, strive and hope for, and even show you how they may feel at that time. It is a great way to know somebody and read how they are as a person. |

Yes I dream. Dream when I’m awake and when I’m … well, in that dream
state. Had several interesting dreams this morning. The last one had something to do with going back to get a key and a (plastic?) heart. I needed both of them to open my car. I normally write down my dreams a relate them to what is happening in my physical world. There is always correlation cause I do a lot with intention as well. I fully believe “As the visible world is sustained by the invisible,” |

Beauty of it is" Our world is but a dream of many. From cultures, life,
humanity, needs and wants. The betterment of us all came from a dream, somewhere, sometime in the past, or even in the future. In my mind, everything by man was a dream. If not for the dreamers of the worlds, where would we be? Kat |
