I think if we dont want a sore back the best thing to do is strengthen it.
I used to do this with a pilate ball between my back and a wall and had to do squats. Guys get your minds outta the gutter@!!!

i have the same problem wiht my grandparents... not to mention 21394 other people buy for them but they have absolutely EVERYTHING... they dont go to restaurants so thats out... maybe a walmart giftcard???? cant everyone use one of those?
