I have a pair of super-soft bamboo fiber navy blue socks. They don't bleed in the washer (and the sock monster hasn't eaten one) but they make my feet turn blue. How can I make that stop??? Wear another pair of socks under them. Nothing worse than getting Smurf foot. May I? Wash them in the hotest water possible with non Iodised salt. Then in the rinse cycle add some vinegar. Rinse again. Dry as usual. |

As a quilter I was told to put a cup of vinegar in your laundry to set the colour.The last thing you want when they wash it for the first time is to have the colours run grrrrrrrrrr.

Hey, I'm a quilter too! Even invented a tool/wrote patterns over the past 4 years :) I usually dye my jeans DARK navy so am used to the salt/vinegar routine - thanks, friends. I'll toss them in with my next jeans cycle :) |

I'm closing the business at the end of the year...petroleum prices have killed me and while the business has "held its own" since inception, it's not really an income producer and it too much work for a hobby. why is it so hard for some people to leave a message when they call? i'm one of those who doesnt go out of my way to answer blocked numbers or numbers i dont know. I don't answer those either. If they can't leave a message, then obviously it wasn't a very important call...lol just irritating, esecially when its my day off and i was sleeping Oh hell...I just leave my cell out in the living room where I can't hear it. That way, I sleep until I am ready to get up. |

i'm scared i'll be stupid  lol Fear is just a negative emotion you can easily overcome. Whether you suffer from stage fright, approaching a stranger for a conversation (aka "meeting someone new"), or talking to someone on a "blind date" if you will. With one very simple technique, you can vanquish that inner-voice of negativity. This is something I've done... countless times, and have taught 100s of people this one, simple thing to overcome what they fear. Before going in to a situation you're "scared of," you close your eyes and take a deep breath. Draw in all that negative energy inside of you, and put it deeply in to your lungs. Now, think of a time where you were on top of the world! On Cloud 9! Felt INVINCIBLE!!!! Draw that feeling in and blow out that negative energy from your lungs. I personally say "F**k it!" as I do this. It helps get rid of that negative energy and you feel that incredibly positive state you just recalled. Do this enough times and, before too long, you'll be able to get in to that "F*** it" state of mind and not care about what's coming up, because you'll be too focused on just having fun to be "scared." OG F*ck it!! i think its working already  Thanks OG i've never dated before because my past boyfriends (4) were guys i went to school with, and one lived in my neighbourhood so i saw them on a daily basis and got to know them as friends casually first. and when we eventually hung out there was no "date" label. we were just hanging out with no pressure to get to know each other or impress each other because we did already. sooo at 19 this would be my first official "date" , hence the nervousness. But i'll take your advice and i'm sure after i get out all the nervous energy i'll be fine. Jasmine keep in mind that your date is probably just as nervous.Do you have anything you like to do like playing pool ,iceskating or rollerskating.I find meeting for coffee is to intimading for me it feels like a job interview.So I will suggest a game of pool or checking out the Christmas lights in the park somewhere there are lots of people around followed by a hot chocolate. yummmy! have fun! hey thanks, i actually was looking for date ideas as a matter of fact  |

Not sure where it came from. It has been adapted, as have many other things, to fit into Christianity, but the the origins of the phrase elude me. 2nd part. Try wrapping the tree in Electric Fencing. A couple of jolts and that kitty won't want to go anywhere NEAR that tree...lol |

OK folks.
It seems that I have been getting a lot of " woman " questions lately. Since I am a guy, I am not well equipped to answer those questions properly, so I have decided to recruit a female cohort. From this point on, any " female " questions should be directed to my new assistant, 907Daydreamer. She has been kind enough to help me answer questions via email when I couldn't come up with a good answer for a question referring to the more " feminine " questions, and I have decided that my best bet is to let her answer that kind of question so I don't wind up sounding like a complete idiot...lol |
