I have an interview on Tuesday afternoon for a job I'd really like. The interviewer is someone I've worked with and been friends with for 10 years. The juxtoposition of this relationship is a little weird... how can I make the transition best and score high on the interview in terms of professionalism without making it seem like I'm disregarding the long-standing friendship/coworker relationship we've had?

Any advice? Or should I just be my natural self and let the chips fall where they may?

I would think just be natural and let the chips fall, they already know you so what can you do. It might look like something else otherwise.

Frankly, life got so much better from 40 on for me that I kinda wished I could have done it sooner :)
