This is so true -- and I own (literally) about 2500 pens -- and I have to have every conceivable color....

About a year or so ago, I was obsessed with trying to find a pen that wrote in gray ink -- I could find markers around here (Hobby Lobby has them) but no pens.

Whisper. who lives all the way up in Canada, tracked down two gray Staedtler pens and sent them to me. I have seen Staedtler stuff here at Staples and Office Depot, but never these particular pens.

It makes a difference when you have the right tools to work with.

I think there might be a writer in me! LOL

This is what happens to me all the time by the way. I forget what I am suppose to write and end up not being able to sleep, because I am trying to figure out what I was suppose to write. What makes it worse is that I swear that this would have been the ultimate idea to spark up a chapter

That's just a matter of doing it over and over until you get all the subtleties down....writing, as much as it is about the words, is also about the flow, the cadence, the rhythm of the ideas passing through the paragraphs and pages....and it can be developed....

Oh Oh.... lexy... will you read my purpose statements and interest statements for my for grad school.... I have to start writing this weekend so I can send them in to the grad schools in less than 2 weeks.

What good is tracking down the perfect pen if you aren't making use of it?
