Excellent thread, very true. You know your a writer when you shop for the perfect tools but spend more time daydreaming about character scenes rather than writing them, oh that's just me, lol I need to get back to writing soon. giggles

i knew i was a writer when the same damned dream kept repeating over and over and over again to the point that i couldn't sleep at night.
this was cute. i fought the whole writer thing for years then.. i got so obsessed with the story that i did nothing but writing for months until the novel's first draft was finished. lol |

You know you're a writer when you sleep with a note pad and pen by your bed side.
You know you're a writer when you day dream as you watch the news and a news item stirs your imagination. You know you're a writer when you hit that eureka! moment and you franticly scribble it down and no one else can decipher it. |

You know you are a writer when you are woken up at 3am hit by inspiration for a new story and forget it all by the time you turn your computer on. This is what happens to me all the time by the way. I forget what I am suppose to write and end up not being able to sleep, because I am trying to figure out what I was suppose to write. What makes it worse is that I swear that this would have been the ultimate idea to spark up a chapter |

Many believe they are always in a different world because they are never present with the group. They call us daydreamers! and we are many times. Ideas have to come from somewhere. |

Just to get what you have to say out on paper isn't as easy as everyone thinks it to be. I congratulate you in giving birth to a baby |

You might be a writer when... you've been published I find a writer is anyone who likes to write but to be published one can be called a Author. |

You might be a writer when... you've been published "What makes a writer is simple: The act of writing. How the writing happens (via madness or exhibitionism or the desire to be paid) is to a great extent immaterial; writers are judged by their output, not their process. If you're entirely "normal" and yet write sparkling prose (which can happen), you're a writer. If you're nuts and you do the same, then you get to be a writer, too"................... I do not claim ownership of these words. |

A author of more then one book at that! Good work Thank you! Speaking of writing, is anyone familiar with a site called bookrenter.com? The reason I'm asking is because I just found out both of my books are available through them, and I never heard of the site before....! |

I never heard of that site, but trust me you want your book on as many sites as possible. The more the better! It must be a good read or it wouldn't be going to other sites this quickly. Good Work! |

Apparently there are a lot of websites I've never heard of before! |
