i use magic jack witch is very close.i paid $106 for 5 years of phone.it has all the benefits of a normal phone. i dropped my phone and my cable and now switched over to dish tv and now save almost $900 a year.bigsmile

it is a computer software that allow u 2 make distint calls...my company has an office in europe and we call them everyday...it is a good way of communication.

Yes, it has made communicating with friends all over the world easy and cheap! laugh


The 'free' or 'almost free' pricetag make the occasional dropped call tolerable.

Sometimes sound quality lacks though ... I have had weird delay feedback sometimes that can be quite distracting ... where I hear myself on a few second delay - strangely that doesn't happen with everyone ...

Magic Jack gives you local and long distance. You just have to have high speed internet and a USB port. It runs through your computer.

what is magic jack? never heard of it
google it it will tell you more.my friends told me about it and i am hooked . yea sometimes it does not have good sound never had one droped call but it is very easy to use.their customer service sucks when it comes to somethings. but hey for 21 a year i can deal with it. i can call froward or take it on the go. it works off your pc so if you have a lap top it is way cool . or if you go to a friends house put it in their pc and make a call.i dont plan on getting a other phone for 5 years or tell they come out with something better. in 2 months it will have already paid for its self. i have had it now for 30 days.

i have free long distance through the cable company and before that i had my phone through qwest and i had free long distance
