First thing is whatever you do don't go into the forums and make an OP (original post) complaining about not getting messages. That turns women off. Instead go back and look for other threads on the subject from guys before you. I'm new here but if this place is like other dating forums then your OP has been made a 1000 times before.

From a woman's point of view? Take the time to read profiles completely and be sure that the lady you are viewing wishes to have email sent to her if you appear to be a match.

If so, email her and introduce yourself politely and respectfully. Don't send her a message with something like, "'sup, wot u up 2? wanna chat? IM me."

Granted, you may not get a reply from everyone you email, but at least you're being assertive in your search. As mentioned, post in some of the forums, make yourself visible, but remember, many people are here just to make friends and are not looking for anyone in particular.

Make sure as well, your profile is complete (I haven't looked at your yet), well thought out, and appropriate, stating clearly who and what you are looking for.

I perved you just now. Need more and BRIGHTER pics than those two dark ones. But,.... some people do not want to get involved with someone who is separated. I won't. That usually entails taking care of old business and such. Maybe that has something to do with it???

Well Ill tell you what, I havent been on a dating site bf, but from the looks of this one there is a very limited supply of people. I just looked at your profile. Definitely brighter photos would help and with you smiling. Remember, your profile is what "sells" you so to speak, it's the first thing people see and unfortunately, you are judged by it. Sucks, but it's just the way it is.

Try saying a little more about yourself. What makes you tick? And IMO, being up front and honest about your marital status isn't a bad thing, at least you're being honest about it.
