i am so sick of stereotypes and labels, when i talk about my beliefs or values i am so sick of being called redneck when people dont know me.
especially on the internet i am not saying you shouldnt be allowed to use sterotypes i just wish people could grow a pair stop the name calling. especially on "sensitive " issues like the n word i am not a racist for disscussing this word, plus this word is no different from when i am called white trash by some one ont eh interwebs. i just feel like our society picks at things and determines its ok to demine and poke fun and group one set of people together but not the other group. its like labels in high school jocks,preps,nerds,dorks. etc... why cant we be humans? |

Unfortunately, many people need labels, it helps them determine if you're "in" or "out" and that way they don't have to step out of their own comfort zone.

We can't be humans because it's not really a society. It's quite amazing that things aren't much much worse. Psychological warfare is full force everywhere from schools to tv with abstract minds running wild. There is some benefit to all this, just learn to tolerate as many people just aren't very smart to begin with.

i don't give a damn anymore because after being called the things i have,nothing offends me anymore.to hell with everyone,i know who i am and that's all that matters! |

I earned every one of those labels. Geezer. Creepy old man. Longhair freak. Wierdo. Ugly bastard. F*ckin asshole. I take pride in every one of those labels I've been given. It's because we have a need to compartmentalize things, to organize and sort things into mental boxes. It is both helpful and limiting.
