You hear it all the time...& in many different ways. I love you... Luv ya, Babe... I love french fries... I only wanna do it cuz I luv you... Do you stop & think about how many times you use that phrase...& do you really mean it? Do you tell your lover that often enough? Or your friends & family? I sometimes think the word "LOVE" is bandied about too much in casual circumstances...& other times, it's not used enough... Just something I was thinking about...Luv, Phuque One of my ex's told me that I said it too often and that it stopped meaning anything to her. : shrugs :

I've actually never said it to a guy before as I do not believe I have truly felt that way yet. I do say it to my family and close friends but I've never been one to over use the word.

Hmmm... I've only said "I love you" to one girl. I guess I really did at the time. It's just one of those things for me, I get uncomfortable now when girls say that to me. I have trouble saying it back to people, except my cat Fezz..

I protect "love" keep it in my heart for those who are very dear & special to me.....I always tell my mom, brothers & sisters that I love them & they return the love.....we are a close family..... As for women.....I have told those that I have loved & when I do love that person I never hold back.....

it means nothing these days. its just another light term of endearment used for anything and everything that entertains the baby. sad huh? Not sad at all...you seem very cool but if it doesnt mean anything to say it these days...why is everyone saying that they don't say it? I am not talking about loving chocolate or steak. but loving someone.? thanks for the kind word. but i have patients tell me almost every day they love me. either for one thing or another... sometimes just to say it and we laugh. because the next time they come in.. they can't even remember my name.

i think love is a very strong word and should only be used if you really really want to spend the rest of your life with somebody

I DEFINATELY think it is said too casually. Since both parents have died I only hear it from one person in my life now. One is enough.

Also i have seen plenty of people in my life throw out the words way to soon in a relationship & get burned major for their trouble. I am never with anyone on any level as a matter of convenience because my soul doesnot work that way. I d not know everthingnor would i claim to but if i evergive my heart to someone it is absolute & the same goes for saying out loud that i love someonne. Last time i did was two years ago & months later my heart was shattered. I wil risk love again & i will mean them with all of myself behin them as that is the only way i know how to be. I neveR do things in haste. My love definitely has to be earned...those words do not come casually from my lips...yet, once they are spoken...they are spoken often & from the heart. You never know when it will be the last chance to say them... But Coffee...I feel sad to think that love may have scarred you so deeply...it can be a devastating beast, can't it?
