You hear it all the time...& in many different ways.

I love you...
Luv ya, Babe...
I love french fries...
I only wanna do it cuz I luv you...

Do you stop & think about how many times you use that phrase...& do you really mean it? Do you tell your lover that often enough? Or your friends & family?

I sometimes think the word "LOVE" is bandied about too much in casual circumstances...& other times, it's not used enough... Just something I was thinking about...Luv, Phuque winking

I believe that the word is tossed around too lightly these days. I don't think that the word "love" has lost its meaning but people has lost their minds. Although, to be technical, the word itself has different meanings as well. smokin

I dunno.....I guess I was raised to really apprecieate love in it's many forms. casual love is convenient but True love of an inner spirit is what seems right to me.

The people who I apprecieate and love in my way....I tell them at every opportunity.

Luv ya Girl....Tell your old man I said Hi.

In my opinion people are lacking in that emotion or even lacking in use of that word. The problem isnt with love its with the void of it or the void of saying it.

I dont believe you have to be married for 40 years for people to call that love. I believe you can truly love someone for one night, and it can still be defined as such.

I believe that "puppy love" is real and deep and not to be dismissed.

What people confuse with love is security and partnership and a contract known as marriage.

Why is it not love to know someone and give him/her your heart and it to be fleeting?

I dont say I love everyone fellow I meet. But i have loved some of the men I have met without requiring a lifetime commitment as proof.

it means nothing these days. its just another light term of endearment used for anything and everything that entertains the baby.

sad huh?

When it comes to many casual things, I usually say they, "make me happy" rather than I love them. Now if it is a really strong feeling, then I'll say I love it.

I love reading. Favorite t.v. shows make me happy. I love sushi. A really great burger makes me happy. I love my family. I love some of my friends. Others make me happy. I try no to use it too casually.

shocked OMG! I was literally just thinking about starting this same topic! STOP reading my mind! LOL! I rarely say the words out loud i think 5 timmes in my life is all. I have to be moved so deeply in order to do that. I dont type or write the words unless i truly mean them. Ive met far to many ppl that toss them out as if it were no big deal. To me it has to be a truly big deal.

Not sad at all...you seem very cool

but if it doesnt mean anything to say it these days...why is everyone saying that they don't say it?

I am not talking about loving chocolate or steak. but loving someone.?

Also i have seen plenty of people in my life throw out the words way to soon in a relationship & get burned major for their trouble. I am never with anyone on any level as a matter of convenience because my soul doesnot work that way. I d not know everthingnor would i claim to but if i evergive my heart to someone it is absolute & the same goes for saying out loud that i love someonne. Last time i did was two years ago & months later my heart was shattered. I wil risk love again & i will mean them with all of myself behin them as that is the only way i know how to be. I neveR do things in haste.
