I go to the meetings as much as I can. I am trying to get on a different shift at work so I can make more meetings.

I understood you were using it as an analogy, but to me the door knob is more real than "god".
I think the "higher power" is a crutch & if you need a crutch & it's helpful, well it's a good thing. That's why I try not to avoid talking about religion. I think some people may need it. I should have never posted here & I apologize to anyone I offended. |

Actually as I understand it one of the 12 steps is apologizing to people you have hurt with your addiction.If that aint taking responsibility,what is?
