my most recent date was a mile-high, 5000-at least-calorie, banana split, shared with my guy in a little ice cream parlour, on a day that probably reached close to 115F in the shade.

hot day, hot guy. the ice cream was a nice balance

We went out to dinner. Went for a ride on motorcycle. Then sat on my deck drinking a glass of wine. She decided to go to the bathroom. Walked off the end of my deck taking all 3 steps in one leap doing an ass over tea kettle crash breaking her foot in 3 places and spending 3 days in intensive care. I thought it was a good date.

I'm not going to stop you from flying to Akron...

My last date was a nightmare. He said he wanted to be emperor of the country because all people were stupid and needed to be taught a lesson and would implement guillotines, public hangings and stockades.... and that he dated married women as they were going to cheat anyhow and why not with him.... Oh and he asked me to play with his hair after all this.

I later found out he was going off Lexapro and this was his reasoning for being such an arse. Sorta stalked me afterwards for about a week. Tried ignoring him, then was nasty... I got another mail from him last week asking again to give him another chance... argggh.

I have a drinks date tonight though.

Went out to a nice dinner, had a couple drinks. Went to a movie after that. Hung out, laughed, and talked for about 3-4 hours in nearby coffeeshop after the movie.


I never heard from her again.


I must have been to "laid back" for her.

OMG, I hope the wine had nothing to do with it? If it did, hope it killed some of the pain. The poor thing.

Hahahaha.... I'm sorry to hear that. You just never know what goes through people's minds or what circumstances are going on that they don't share. Personally, I think it's rude to just say nothing afterwards....

Ha, the $300 plane ticket, 8 family members that are suppose to be here today, and unfinished house are stopping me :)

Well, we met up after talking by phone and online. Just went to Chili's to finally meet. We had a couple of alcoholic beverages, tried something new called a buttery nipple!!! And, he was sweet and nice and funny and a gentleman. And we laughed and talked and made out some!!! To be continued.... wish me well!!!

About 2 wks ago. Went over to her house to give her dog a vaccination shot. Chatted for a while, went out for dinner. When I walked her to the car I found out she was armed(yes she's in law enforcement). A few kisses at the car. Made sure she got into her car safely. We have another date in two wks.

When a date just consists of bodily actions, there is no way to put it in a way that would be appropriate for general discussion. Not all 'dates' beginning with dinner and dancing.

Oh and not great enough that I am not worried about tanking my verbal score on GRE.
