I think women deal with physical pain better than men.
But men deal with emotional pain better than women. Just my opinion Hi Bev |

Still just trying to gain your acceptance after the "Guys need to wear shirts" Thread.....
But, as far as who is stronger....look around woman. If you are like me....some women friends are stronger in thier relationships...some men friends are stronger in thier relationships.... If any of us think that superiority comes from a penis or lack there of...then we are doomed as a species. |

They are about the same
I go into the dialysis clinic and see the people in wheelchairs, missing limbs, and suffering through the dialysis. Some of the men cry like babies during the whole four hour treatment and so do some of the women. Some of them grit their teeth together and smile by god no matter what I don't see any difference between men and women there |

I think women deal with physical pain better than men. But men deal with emotional pain better than women. Just my opinion Hi Bev Nothing's really gender specific. It's all relative and specific to the individual. Women are good at using the pregnancy thing as "proof" that they're better than men at dealing with pain. Maybe some are. But who is to say that if men could get pregnant, they wouldn't deal with it just as well? Of course we'll never know. I heard about a myth that if you take a hair follicle and twist it, and the follicle curls, it means the person that follicle belonged to is resistant to pain. This argument is no less ludicrous. Pain and ability to deal with pain is specific to the individual and the individual's experiences (there's probably a genetic factor involved too). It's not specific to gender. |

All things considered, I think the men have it slightly easier.
Therefore, I'll give this one to the women. |

I think that every way is a good way, ones way of dealing with life might be good for one and not good for another, we should never judge ones actions base on our own way of going through life. I may cry when you don't, I may be brave when you flea, I may laugh when your sad, I may quit when you continue and I may be wrong about everything but I am me and I'm dealing with it my way.

Nerve damage helps too, and I have a tremendous amount of nerve damage. |

A comedienne once said that if she was going to have a baby, the guy had to be in the next gurney at least having a bikini wax ...
Like all generalizations, there are all levels of pain tolerance in men and women ... |
